Extended Day Program
A fun, safe place for children before and after school — with enrichment, homework help, and care.
Advance U is proud to offer a fun and safe environment for children before and after school. Children have the opportunity to engage in arts and crafts, science experiments, open centers, technology, and outdoor enrichment. Students also receive homework help, tutoring, and small-group interventions that target areas of need — a true extension of our regular school day.

How to Apply
If you are interested in the program, pick up an application at our front office. Completing an application does not guarantee acceptance — we have a limited number of spots available and accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis.
Program Expectations & Discipline
Because Extended Day is an extension of the regular school day, our discipline policy and behavioral expectations continue through the program — creating a positive climate where every student feels safe, parents stay informed, and all students can grow in personal and social development.
- On a first office referral, the parent is informed and the student receives a warning.
- On a second referral, a parent conference is held.
- On a third referral, the student is suspended from the program for one week.
- If a student is suspended more than three times, they are removed from the program for the rest of the year.
Late Pick-Up Policy
- The first late pick-up: the parent is reminded of the hours of operation and the late fee is waived as a courtesy.
- The second: a fee of $1.00 per minute is assessed to the student account, due at the end of the week.
- The third: the $1.00-per-minute fee applies and the student is suspended for one week.
- More than three late pick-ups: the student is removed from the program for the rest of the year.
Unpaid late fees will result in suspension from the program until the fee is paid.
